Cheriton Light Festival

Worked on a projection installation piece for Cheriton Light Festival with Stanley Orwin-Fraser in which charity shop paintings start to come alive and tell stories inspired by three Grimms’ Fairytales. By projecting the picture frame textures back over themselves after being painted white, and incorporating specific animations and lighting to each, we were able to create depth that at first tricked people into believing they were just paintings on display, but once moving, invited the audience into the stories within.
